Well up until recently, my college assignments had been piling up. Every time I tried to apply myself to getting them done, I kept going "Oh hell, thats sure is alot of work!" and then tried taking my mind off them with games, tv, books & so on. But I finally got sick of my own crap and arranged to see the college councilor.
I've had a couple of sessions with him, where I explained my plight and discussed solutions to it. And came up with some that I found really helpful, like doing my work in small but frequent bits and getting the stuff I find easier to do, out of the way first.
I've been getting on with my work and I'm hoping to have reduced the pile significantly by the end of the Christmas holiday.
