With in the last couple of months, my scanner (a UMAX Astra 2100U) still scans but usually with a couple of fugly lines. They go vertically through the entire pic and need removal. Tried downgrading the scanning software itself to stable but to no avail. Just yesterday, I installed the stable 6.0 distribution of debian (I currently use wheezy, the testing distribution) to a separate partition. Tried doing some scanning under that and it no longer has the lines. But it doesn't seem able to handle above 150 dpi (can usually scan at 300 dpi). Then again, that was without updates so I'll give it another try today.

I've been having a lot of trouble finding employment so I decided to take up a volunteering job. Beats sitting on my ass all week, getting cabin fever and its something to put on the CV. It's at a furniture store for a charity. I basically just act like hired muscle and haul stuff around all day. I work their  every Saturday. Any way, just the other day I was told to chuck a load of stuff into the skips, I found some neat stuff amongst it which I kept: -A black cap with the IBM logo on it. -A miniature key-chain etch-a-sketch. -A tub of about 20 Pokemon cards. -A cd wallet. But I finally got sick of my own crap and arranged to see the college councilor. I've had a couple of sessions with him, where I explained my plight and discussed solutions to it. And came up with some that I found really helpful, like doing my work in small but frequent bits and getting the stuff I find easier to do, out of the way first. I've been getting on with my work and I'm hoping to have r

Thanks for the fav =D
Thanks for the favorite! I'm glad you liked it!
Excuse, I wanted to say that I LOVE your art and wish I discovered it sooner. It is pretty amazing.

I wanted to also ask you if I give you fair credit in the bio, If I can use your "Nurse Stimpack" image for an icon.
Amazing? Not sure if serious.

Sure, you can use that pic as an icon if that's what you really want.
Very serious, Actually.

And thank you very much. I shall be sure to give you credit the description.
Thanks for the watch! : D

Though to be honest, I can't tell if you're watching me because of giant pony plushie, because of DOS game reviews, or both.

Also, Hopper! *points at your DA icon* ...I hate those things. They spawn like crazy in Engineering... x_x;
